Dabster is dedicated to
acoustic design, a key element to ensure the well-being and high quality of built environments. Since its founding, Dabster has demonstrated deep expertise in acoustic engineering, developing effective solutions for a wide variety of settings. Our business ranges from managing noise levels in residential, commercial and industrial environments. Our analyses cover a wide range of noise sources, including vehicle traffic, restaurant and childcare activities, industrial buildings, plant systems (such as air conditioning and ventilation), and construction activities during the construction phase.
Our acoustic design includes the following activities:
- VIAC — Acoustic Impact Assessment
We analyze the acoustic impact deriving from HVAC systems, both in outdoor units and in outdoor grills, to determine noise levels and, if necessary, suggest corrective solutions. The analysis also extends to the internal units of HVAC systems, evaluating noise levels and intervening with corrective actions when required.
- RAP — Passive Acoustic Requirements
We study the design of the facades and their related components (walls, windows and doors) to determine their effectiveness in insulating acoustically from external airborne noise. If necessary, we offer solutions to optimize insulation and improve internal acoustic comfort. In addition, we perform in-depth analysis of walls and floors to reduce the transmission of airborne and impact noises, limiting the propagation of sounds between adjacent rooms and floors.
- Acoustic Insulation in Specific Environments
We carry out evaluations for technical rooms and other particularly noisy areas, offering solutions to improve isolation from airborne noise, impact noise and vibrations. This is crucial to ensure that sensitive areas meet the required acoustic standards.
- System Analysis and Acoustic Insulation
We review electrical, mechanical and hydraulic system designs to identify possible acoustic problems and suggest improvements. The acoustic design of plant systems is crucial to limit the transmission of unwanted noise.
- Reverb Studio and Acoustic Comfort
We study reverberation in common rooms of residential, commercial or other special functions. If necessary, we propose solutions to improve indoor acoustic comfort, creating more livable and comfortable environments for people.
- Supervision and Quality Control
Dabster also offers supervision of the works and approval of the materials used, ensuring that all acoustic solutions are properly implemented and meet quality standards.
