There are many abandoned areas in Italy 'looking for the future', for which the technical and political world have been trying for some time to redesign re-functionalization scenarios for tomorrow in the light of the attempted interpretation of today's needs.
They seemed like isolated cases, but moving forward in the real estate mapping processes, the awareness of a profound widespread nature of the 'abandoned', which crosses all of Italy, is maturing.
To welcome these 'urban vacuums' cities of all sizes and in any geographical location, dispelling the conviction that contexts characterized by more affluent social fabrics or a stronger culture of decorum are immune to this disease of the abandoned that wears out both urban and suburban or peri-urban centers.
