The energy modeling of a building is a methodology that uses simulations and calculations to analyze the consumption and energy efficiency of its components.

Through dynamic energy simulation, a crucial element for an optimized design, it is possible to calculate, for example, the use of energy in relation to the performance of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), thus estimating the cooling and heating loads and the consequent operating costs.

By integrating the consumption of HVAC systems, lighting, electrical equipment and the building envelope into a single model, the necessary performance parameters are defined and the overall energy management of the building is optimized.

The resulting energy analysis provides a forecast of annual consumption, identifies peaks in energy demand and contributes to the construction of more efficient and sustainable buildings.
