Renewable energy communities, a solution to produce energy at zero km

The Renewable Energy Communities (CERs) introduced with Legislative Decree 162/2019, when there was still no risk of going into crisis due to energy insufficiency and prohibitive purchase costs, represent a direction to stimulate a plurality of subjects to come together to equip themselves with shared plants for production and self-consumption of energy from renewable sources.

An idea that foreshadows the development of zero-kilometer energy and that, with funding from the PNRR, can affect the achievement of energy autonomy; a local design dimension, of the neighborhood, but above all of a community, which is well suited to the concept of proximity, expressed by an urban dimension of proximity of services tailored to the inhabitant.
