Integrated BIM design

Dabster uses Building Information Modelling (BIM) as a fundamental tool for the coordinated management of complex projects, ensuring an innovative approach in the design and construction of buildings. BIM is a methodology that integrates the generation and management of detailed digital models of the physical and functional characteristics of a building, transforming these models into shared resources that support and optimize decision-making throughout the project life cycle.
BIM accompanies the project in all its phases: from the initial definition of the concept, through design, construction, to the operational management of the plants and, if necessary, to the dismantling of the building. Its application goes far beyond the design phase, extending to the entire life cycle of the building, also contributing to the management of costs, construction times and plant operations.
Integrated BIM design

BIM design is structured in a process that ranges from 3D to 7D, integrating:
  • 3D: Detailed spatial modeling, which physically represents the building.
  • 4D: Time planning, useful for monitoring and tracking changes during the different phases of the project.
  • 5D: Cost estimation, which allows you to record units and update overall costs in real time, adapting to any changes.
  • 6D: Sustainability, to evaluate environmental impact and eco-friendly solutions.
  • 7D: Life cycle analysis and maintenance, to optimize the management and maintenance of the building throughout its useful life.
One of the fundamental aspects of BIM is coordination between the various designers (architects, structural engineers and MEP), avoiding overlaps and ensuring an integrated vision of the project. Thanks to the possibility of visualizing possible problems in advance, BIM makes it possible to identify and correct discrepancies from the earliest stages, significantly reducing the risk of errors.
Adopting BIM has many advantages, including:
