At Dabster, we offer a complete Works Management service to ensure the correct execution of construction work in all its phases, from conception to final construction. The Works Management is essential for controlling the accuracy and quality of the work, responding directly to the Client to ensure that the activities are carried out in line with the contract, the design drawings and the relevant regulations.
Before the start of the work, it is possible to appoint a Works Director. Depending on the size, type and complexity of the project, this figure may be supported by one or more assistants and/or Operational Works Directors (DLO) specialized for specific works.
The Director of Works has the task of ensuring the correct execution of the works, enforcing the provisions of the contract and supervising the entire construction process. This role is mandatory for projects that require a building title or a declaration of certification pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 380 of 6 June 2001, for all structural works subject to Technical Standards for Construction.
In this phase, the Works Manager oversees the work of the contractor and its subcontractors, ensuring that the works are carried out in accordance with contractual requirements.
Although daily presence at the construction site is not necessary, the Director must constantly monitor the progress of the work, carrying out periodic visits and verifying that the materials and techniques comply with the expected standards.
