PNRR, land security and energy efficiency, design tenders worth 350 million are coming

New tenders are coming for the final and executive design relating to PNRR works, interventions to secure the territory from hydrogeological risk, security and energy efficiency of schools and public buildings, security of roads, bridges and viaducts.

Ministerial Decree of 28 October 2022 has been published on the website of the Ministry of the Interior, which integrates, with 350 million euros, the 280 million already allocated in June to local authorities that must create a series of works but they do not have the internal expertise to

280 million euros were initially allocated for 2022. The resources were allocated in June based on requests sent by local authorities. Since the requests were greater than the resources, the Ministry drew up a ranking and recognized design contributions to requests ranked from position No. 1 to position No. 1782

Given the high number of requests, Ministerial Decree of 28 October 2022 moved the 350 million allocated to 2023 to 2022. The requests that ranked from position no. 1783 to position no. 4007 were then admitted to funding

The local authorities receiving the funding have three months to entrust the design. The terms will start from the publication of the notice in the Official Gazette

The resources will be disbursed to the beneficiaries by February 28, 2023.

Recall that the 2020 Budget Law allocated 85 million euros for the year 2020, 128 million euros in the year 2021, 170 million euros for the year 2022 and 200 million euros per year for each of the years from 2023 to 2034 for the nbsp; final and executive design relating to interventions to secure the territory from hydrogeological risk, security and energy efficiency of schools and public buildings, safety of roads.

The 2022 Budget Law has changed the priorities to be followed in the allocation of resources for design, giving preference to works financed by the PNRR. The order has become:
a) public works under the PNRR;
b) securing the territory at hydrogeological risk;
c) securing roads, bridges and viaducts;
d) safety and energy efficiency of buildings, with priority for school buildings, and other structures owned by

Over time, the resource pool has increased. For 2022, it reached 280 million euros, which were allocated to requests ranked from position No. 1 to position No.

For 2023, the budget reached 350 million euros and the Ministerial Decree of 28 October 2022 ordered their use to scroll the ranking for 2022.
