Procurement management

Dabster's Procurement Management focuses on a meticulous analysis of tender documents. We follow the customer's instructions to invite and summon suitable General Contractors (GCs) to carry out the work. We fully manage the selection and negotiation process, ensuring transparency and constant adherence to the needs of the project.

The main activities of Procurement Management include:
  • Pre-validation and selection of General Contractors: Identification and preliminary evaluation of potential GCs.
  • Pre-selection competitions: Support in drafting invitation letters and managing the pre-selection phase.
  • Organization of introductory meetings: Planning of initial meetings for a first presentation of the projects to the GC.
  • Pricing times: Planning the time needed to define costs and offers.
  • Evaluation tenders: In-depth analysis of unit prices, design alternatives and solutions proposed by GCs.
  • Negotiation with selected bidders: Direct interaction with bidders to optimize contract conditions and terms.
  • Recommendation for the acceptance of offers: Presentation of the most suitable offers to the customer.
Dabster identifies and reports to the customer the companies considered suitable and qualified to carry out construction works, in accordance with the design specifications. During the selection process, we verify that bidders have:
  • A proven track record in managing high-quality construction projects.
  • The ability to complete the work within the agreed deadlines and the project plan.
  • The possession of all necessary authorizations to start work, in line with local regulations.
  • Adequate insurance coverage in relation to the risks associated with the project.
During the Procurement Management phase, Dabster undertakes to:
  • Analyze and technically evaluate all the offers received, ensuring that they comply with the call for tenders and the technical specifications provided;
  • Verify that each bidder has taken into account all the design specifications, made the necessary calculations and considered costs, risks and other variables related to the project;
  • Ensure that the bidder complies with the requirements required by the General Contractor selected by the customer, confirming his willingness to meet the deadlines and commitments set out;
  • Confirm to the customer the bidder's commitment to meet the completion deadlines and other obligations related to the project, ensuring that all necessary documents are signed and in order.
