Improving Relationships: Leaving the formal office environment has allowed Project Leaders to get to know each other in a different and more authentic light. Between a laugh, a cover provided to a colleague and some inevitable “friendly fire”, stronger bonds of trust have been created, essential for effective collaboration in everyday work.
Refine Coordination: Just like managing a complex order, winning paintball is never the result of chance. It requires a clear plan of action, quick communication under pressure, and the ability to synchronize the movements of the entire team. Our PMs had to demonstrate on the ground that coordination is the key to achieving the goal.
Enhance Team Play: No 'lone hero' wins at paintball. The participants experienced first-hand the importance of covering each other's backs, sacrificing for the group and valuing the strengths of each individual member for the success of the collective mission.
Between colorful ambushes, adrenaline-pumping shots and improvised tactics, the event proved to be a success on all fronts.
