The study: The application of the thermal coat and the replacement of the windows reduced the thermal requirement required for heating by 24%, thus leading to a drop in methane consumption by boilers. Lower fuel consumption has resulted in both savings in economic terms and savings in terms of CO2 produced, reaching 37399 Kg/year (-29%). By replacing the existing lamps with the LED lamps provided for by the project state, there has been a reduction of 31% in the electricity requirement for artificial lighting. This has led to both a decrease in the expenditure related to the acquisition of electricity from the grid and a decrease in the CO2 emitted, given that part of the energy present in the network is still generated through non-renewable sources. The decrease in CO2 linked to the transition to the new lighting system amounts to 9513 Kg/year (-44%).
