Energy upgrading of the Volkswagen headquarters in Verona: class C→A4, -82% energy requirement, -702 t CO2. Thermal power plant design, electrical systems and sprinklers
Energy upgrading project for the Verona headquarters of Volkswagen Group Italia, in order to obtain the Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) certification and achieve a 30% reduction in CO2 emissions deriving from business activities and a 20% cut in energy needs. The intervention has led to important benefits such as the transition from energy class C to A4 and a reduction in the requirement from the previous 228.44 kWh/m2/year to 40.00 kWh/m2/year, which corresponds to a cut in CO2 emissions of 702 tons/year.
