HISTORY

A story born of initiative/ resourcefulness.

Dabster Engineering was born from the initiative of three engineers specialising in three different disciplines, who in 2017 decided to join their forces in order to start a design studio with a solid background of expertise and preparation.

They decided to use the term Dabster, an English term identifying a person who is an expert in a specific field.
The start, as in all success stories, was from the bottom/below, just physically: from a small, poorly lighted basement in Valpolicella.
Alessandro Gecchele, Giorgio Grezzani and Marco Rossi share three engineering specialisations essential to each other: energy, electricity and hydraulics, facilitating a multidisciplinary approach to customer service and having a single interlocutor for solving various design issues.
The idea pays off and the result is the need for a bigger office.

From the first project entirely in BIM to nowadays

In 2018, with the first project totally in BIM, the first employees joined Dabster too and the first real work space arrived, in Via Sommacampagna in Verona, a 150 square metres open space with 12 people.

In 2020 the number of employees exceeds 20 and Dabster acquires a new space in Via Sommacampagna, within the same business centre, effectively doubling the company’s floor space. Towards the end of 2020, Dabster’s Milan office opens too, an office dedicated to the north-west Italian market.
In 2021, the number of employees increases again, in parallel with turnover, to more than 30. Marketing and HR professionals begin to join the company’s organisation, in addition to the usual new additions of engineers, architects and technicians. A new floor is acquired in the Via Sommacampagna business centre, increasing the area of the main office to 500 square metres.

In 2022 opens the Rome office, dedicated to clients in central and southern Italy. To date, our consulting and industrial design studio has 3 offices throughout Italy, with over 200 projects realized for companies operating in the hospital, industrial, commercial, catering, logistics, and management sectors.
