ENERGY REQUALIFICATION

Bussolengo (Vr)

Final design of mechanical and electrical systems. Final design of building components for energy saving purposes.

The application of thermal insulation and the replacement of windows and doors reduced the thermal requirement for heating by 24%, thus leading to a decrease in methane consumption by the boilers. Lower fuel consumption resulted in both savings in economic terms and in terms of CO2 produced, reaching 37,399 kg/year (-29%). By replacing the existing lamps with the LED lamps foreseen by the project status, there was a 31% reduction in the electricity requirement for artificial lighting. This has resulted in both a decrease in spending linked to the acquisition of electricity from the grid and a decrease in the CO2 emitted, given that part of the energy present in the grid is still generated through non-renewable sources. The reduction in CO2 linked to the transition to the new lighting system is equal to 9513 kg/year (-44%).
