Electrical and mechanical systems executive design/ Building components for energy saving executive design
The study. The thermal insulation application and the replacement of windows and doors reduced the heating demand by 24%, thus leading to a decrease in methane consumption by boilers.
Lower fuel consumption led to both a saving in economic terms and a saving in terms of CO2 produced, reaching 37399 kg/year (-29%). Replacing the existing lamps with the LED lamps planned in the status project/design stage, it has reached a reduction of 31% in the electricity demand for artificial lighting.
This has resulted in both a decrease in expenditure related to the acquisition of electricity from the grid, and a decrease in CO2 emissions, since part of the energy in the grid is still generated through non-renewable sources. The decrease
