Don Milani school
Dabster designed the energy redevelopment of the “Don Milani” primary school in Sommacampagna, near Verona, allowing the structure to move from energy class D to A1, to drastically reduce the consumption of methane gas for heating and consequently the volume of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere and to reach European environmental standards for educational institutions.
The planned energy requalification intervention proposed the creation of the thermal insulation to insulate the perimeter walls and the attics bordering the external environment through the installation of insulating panels in sintered expanded polystyrene EPS, the replacement of the existing windows with new PVC windows, the insulation of the attics with different types depending on their practicability and the replacement of the existing boiler with a new condensing boiler.
